Guest Speakers

All Monthly SSAS Meetings are Open to the Public - Free of Charge.

Monthly meetings feature guest speakers with degrees in anthropology, archaeology, archaeology history, or engineering. Past programs have focused on nautical archeology, the study of Lake Michigan shipwrecks and the 2000 rescue excavations at Zeugma, Turkey. Discussions follow each program.

Trips

The group schedules trips to locations of archeological interest such as Peru, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Germany, and Austria.
